Bench Jewelers 4th Annual Passion Award Design Competition
The fourth annual Bench Jewelers Passion Award Design Competition
will be held in conjunction with the Bench Jewelers Conference & Expo April 24 – 27 in Los Angeles, CA. To enter, photographs of the finished jewelry or CAD renderings or Design Team jewelry are to be submitted over the Internet. Jewelers may enter one piece per category in up to three categories in each Division.
Deadline for submissions is March 15, 2008.
Winners announced on April 25, 2008 and
Jewelers Choice announced April 26, 2008.
Submissions can be entered in two divisions: one for finished jewelry and one for CAD renderings. All jewelry submitted into the Finished Jewelry Division must be original and designed and made by the jeweler entering the contest. With the exception of the Design Team category, no trade shops or other jewelers can work on the entry. The other categories within the Finished Jewelry Division are: Men’s Jewelry, Ladies’ Rings, Ladies’ Jewelry (other than rings) and Laser Fabricated Jewelry.
Likewise, all renderings in the CAD Rendering Division must also be original and created by the jeweler entering the contest. The categories are: Men’s Jewelry, Ladies’ Rings and Ladies’ Jewelry (other than rings).
This division will consist of finished jewelry and must be designed and made by the jeweler entering the contest.
Finished Jewelry Categories: Men’s Jewelry, Ladies Rings,Ladies Jewelry (other than rings), Laser Jewelry
This division will consist of CAD renderings and must be created by the jeweler entering the contest using 3D computer software.
CAD Rendering Categories: Men’s Jewelry, Ladies Rings,Ladies Jewelry (other than rings), Laser Jewelry
This Category consists of finished jewelry and must be designed and made by the jewelers entering the contest. All jewelers involved must work together in the same shop.
Finished Jewelry Categories: Men’s Jewelry, Ladies Rings,Ladies Jewelry (other than rings), Laser Jewelry
